Public Safety
When elected to the state senate, I promise to promote laws that Increase Public Safety funding + support the rule of law for ALL the People of California. Lawlessness must end and be held accountable. I promise to never forget the Victims of crime. I will work to end Waste, Fraud and Abuse.
Homelessness
This Humanitarian Crisis must be handled compassionately, logistically and immediately. Homelessness in 2024 rose to a staggering 187,000 in LA County alone, enough to fill 3 Dodger Stadiums! Even sadder, in 2025 over 6 died homeless on our LA County streets each day, totaling 2,208 deaths last year alone. Despite voters allocating Billions of dollars, $24 Billion was LOST by current CA politicians!
Business
Large and small businesses are the lifeblood of our city and state but, businesses are leaving LA and CA in droves due to taxes and over regulation. Business taxes must be cut and red tape must be removed. These huge companies have recently left CA taking with them thousands of jobs: Chevron, Valero, Tesla, McKesson Pharmaceutical, CBRE global real estate, Oracle, Charles Schwab, Hewlett Packard, Palentir, SpaceX, Nuetrogena, In-N-Out Burger, Realtor.com and many others.
Education
The children are our future but the majority of LA kids in our public schools test well below the national average, despite increased funding and substantial tax allocation. Alternative school opportunities and reform is needed to help our children succeed. Did you know the budget for the LA unified school district is almost $19 BILLION per year!? This is not a money problem, it's a management problem that we must fix.
Family
The family is the nucleus of society. We must remain inclusive to support the well-being of all families in our diverse community, especially those who have children with special needs. Many families require additional help coping with physical and/or emotional challenges.
Veteran Resources
Without Vets there would be no us or U.S. Veteran’s issues are complex, involving: housing, medical attention, psychological care, addiction recovery and jobs. CA Veterans have provided Freedoms we enjoy daily. In return, their needs must Never be ignored.
Infrastructure
Despite very high taxes, many of L.A.’s sidewalks, streets and street lights are in serious disrepair. These infrastructure problems are very dangerous for our children, elders and physically challenged to navigate by foot and by car. Repairs must be expedited to improve the public safety of we taxpayers. These necessary repairs will provide employment opportunities and beautify our local communities.
Fuel Prices
CA's gasoline excise tax of .61 cents per gallon is the highest in the USA! As gas pricing affects every family, especially blue collar workers, I will propose a gas tax holiday for all Californians until CA gas prices match the national average. Additionally, I will work to immediately invite Phillips 66, Chevron and Valero to return to California, and stop the importing of foreign fuel from other nations.
